Linda Batchelor is a graduate of UT Arlington. She has been trained in dyslexia therapy through the St. Augustine Program and Neuhaus Education Center. She completed the Neuhaus Education Center two year course in Basic Language Skills and The Foundation of Language.
She is also trained in reading comprehension. Her services include remediation in academic skills, visual-perceptual therapy, and binocular vision training. She has been a reading volunteer for our schools, a writing teacher for a local private school and a private vision therapist since 2005.
She is a mother of three sons and has resided in this area since 1995. She has been volunteering with children and students in this area for the past 17 years.
Terry Camp joined the Baxter Eye Care team shortly after moving to Texas in 2016 from North Carolina, where she was born and raised. She has 4 children and 9 grandchildren. She has been involved in optometry for many years, but she first became interested in the field when her youngest daughter was diagnosed with accommodative esotropia and her father with glaucoma. She is currently an optometric assistant and your best resource for all contact lens orders.
In her free time, she enjoys swimming, sewing, and riding motorcycles. She brings joy to our office and says that her goal is to leave people feeling better than when they met. “Life is short, make it a good one!”
Brittney Fernandez has been with Baxter Eye Care since November 2016. She is the most recent addition to the Optometric Assistant team at the office. Brittney came from the dental field and is excited at the new challenges and experiences that optometry brings. She enjoys spending her free time watching Finding Nemo, eating new types of food, and using SnapChat. She also enjoys riding horses and breaking out into dance whenever the mood strikes her.
Danielle McManus has been a member of Baxter Eye Care since April 2016. She works as an Optometric Assistant and front desk team member. Originally from Austin, Danielle is happy to be able to provide exemplary service to The Woodlands residents. Danielle enjoys hiking, spending time with her boyfriend, and taking care of her zoo of animals.
Heather Trexler (email@example.com) is a graduate of Sam Houston State University, where she studied Public Relations and Communication Studies. After working in the dental and medical fields for five years, she joined the Baxter Eye Care team in October 2014. She is our insurance expert and Administrative Coordinator. She is also a trained Optometric Assistant, front desk team member, and Optician. Heather
loves being involved in all aspects of patient care!
She currently resides in Conroe and has lived in Texas since 1988; she cannot imagine living anywhere
else! She spends her free time staying active with her son and watching
old television shows like Friends and Breaking Bad.
Marsha was born and raised in Texas and joined Baxter Eye Care in 2017. She has been an optician for over 30 years and it is her passion to provide outstanding customer service to everyone she meets. There is no problem too large or too small that she cannot handle! Marsha is married with two children and four grandchildren. She enjoys traveling, scuba diving, camping, and staying active with her two dogs. What Marsha truly enjoys is going to iFly in The Woodlands and participating in some exhilarating indoor skydiving. She is the daredevil of Baxter Eye Care!
Deborah has been with Baxter Eye Care since February 2017 but came to us with previous experience in the optometric field. Deborah is part of our front desk team and most recently has trained as an optician- she loves to help our patients choose new frames that fit their style and vision needs.
Deborah is married and has a four legged fur baby pomeranian. On her off days she enjoys to travel and spend quality time with family.
