The cost of routine eye exams and prescription eyewear can be of real concern, especially for large families. In many cases, vision plans can lower these annual expenses.

A vision plan is not the same as health insurance. Regular health insurance protects you against financial losses due to unexpected eye injuries or disease. Vision plans, on the other hand, are a wellness benefit designed to provide routine eye care, prescription eyewear and other vision-related services at a reduced cost.

Because we provide both medical and routine eye care, we accept a number of insurance and vision plans to help cover the cost depending on your individual needs.

Here are just some of the plans that we accept:

Medical Insurances we accept

Aetna, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Boon Chapman, Cigna, First Health, GEHA, Humana, Medicare, Optum Health, Tricare, UMR, United HealthCare, USAA.

Vision Plans we accept

Avesis, most EyeMed plans, Humana Comp Benefits, Spectera, Superior Vision, Vision Benefits of America (VBA), Vision Service Plan (VSP).

We do accept other plans as well, so if you do not see your plan listed here, please give us a call 281-364-1981 and we would be happy to assist you. Our staff is also always available to answer any questions regarding your benefits.

Unforunately, we are unable to accept the following plans: Cigna HealthSpring, Cigna International, Davis Vision, EyeMed/Humana Insight Network, Kelsey-Seybold, Medicaid, Memorial Hermann Medical Plan, and Community HMO plans through the health insurance marketplace.

In some cases, you may be able to file a claim on your own for reimbursement so that you may still be cared for by our doctors. We are happy to provide you with the necessary information to do so.
