COVID-19 Office Updates

Baxter Eye Care is open for your eye care needs at this time. We have implemented extra disinfecting policies in addition to our standard practices of disinfecting between every patient, and throughout the common areas of the office. Please note that you will be directed to wash your hands upon entering the office, and prior to trying on any frames.

In accordance with CDC recommendations, we also request that everyone who is able wear a mask or face covering into our office. This is especially important due to the close nature of the eye examination process and the small size rooms in which we work. When applicable, we also request that no more than one adult or caregiver accompany a patient into the exam room, and that any accompanying family members are limited.

While we are happy to continue providing care to our community, in order to protect the safety of our doctors, staff, and patients we ask that you follow CDC guidelines of self-isolating for 14 days and DO NOT come to our office if you:

• Are experiencing/have had ANY symptoms of COVID-19 such as fever, cough, muscle/body aches or shortness of breath in the last 14 days

• Have been in contact with anyone with the above symptoms, or suspected/known to have COVID-19 in the last 14 days

If you have an ocular emergency and any of the above conditions apply to you, please CALL our office and our doctors will assess the best way to get you the care that you need.
