How much is an eye examination?
Our comprehensive eye exams are $105.00, and includes checking for diseases such as glaucoma, macular degeneration, and cataracts. We also perform a refraction and check for problems such as dry eyes and allergy related symptoms. What is Optomap? Optos is an advanced Retinal eye exam. It provides an ultra-widefield view of the retina. It’s non-invasive, comfortable for children of all ages, and offers many advantages including: *Provides an annual, permanent record which give our doctor comparisons for tracking and diagnosing potential issues *No lingering effects of dilation *Gives the doctor a 200% greater view of the retina than dilation. If I had Optos done last year, why should I have it done again this year? Most eye diseases go undetected, and can only be seen through an eye health exam. Things change over the course of a year, so even though they were healthy last year, there is no way to be certain they are healthy this year unless we do the same test and do a comparison.
